Sustainability
作为教育者, we are committed to fostering the best possible humans for tomorrow, and the students we’re nurturing deserve we leave the best possible planet for them too. Our primary aim from a sustainability perspective is to meet the current generation's needs in a way that does not compromise the potential of future generations to do the same. Our organizational operations involve a series of consumption practices that ease environmental impact and facilitate the conservation of resources.
任务
Head-Royce is committed to providing an organizational culture, a physical space and an educational program that models and promotes environmental health and sustainability. To that end, the school will:
- Embrace an eco-centric and sustainable mindset in its decision making and practices;
- Incorporate sustainable practices in the school’s facilities and operations that maximize energy efficiency and ecosystem services, as well as minimize resource consumption, waste production and toxin use;
- Continue to emphasize sustainability, environmental health, 营养, personal responsibility, leadership and connection to the community beyond the school in our educational program.
